It's designed for big projects — full sleeves, back pieces, leg sleeves, and blackout work — where each session builds on the last to create a cohesive, flowing design. Every session is intentional — a balance of artistry, planning, and healing. You'll work closely with your artist to map out your vision, schedule your sessions, and bring your story to life at a pace that feels right for you.

Your skin needs time to breathe and rebuild between sessions, where your tattoo settles and your body integrates the work. What to Expect in the First 10–14 Days:
- Days 1–3: Tenderness and light swelling are normal; keep the area clean and moisturised.
- Days 4–7: Peeling and itching begin as your skin regenerates; avoid scratching or picking.
- Days 8–14: The tattoo begins to settle and soften in appearance; continue gentle care and hydration.
- Recommended Aftercare Products: Bepanthen or Hustle Butter for moisture and protection. Kawakawa or Paw Paw balm for natural healing support.
At the end of each session, you’ll receive a verbal aftercare guide and a printed info sheet to take home, so you know exactly how to care for your tattoo and prepare for your next session.

Every design and every client is different, but here's a general guide to help you plan your journey:
Here's what you can expect along the way:
- Consultation & Design Planning: We start with a creative consultation to map out your vision — themes, placement, and flow.
- Session Structure: Each session runs up to 6 hours (full day) or 3 hours (half day), with short stretch breaks throughout and a 20-30 minute food break if needed.
- Healing Time: A minimum of 2 weeks is required between sessions to allow your skin to heal and your body to recover. (most clients book their next session 2-4 weeks later.)

Each Grow a Sleeve journey is unique — shaped by your design, your energy, and your pace. But heres a general guideline for reference:
- Full Arm Sleeve (Men): Approximately 3 full days + an optional half-day touch-up session.
- Full Arm Sleeve (Women): Approximately 2-3 full days, depending on design and detail.
- Full Leg Sleeve (Men): 3-5 full days, depending on coverage and complexity.
- Full Leg Sleeve (Women): 3 full days, on average.
- Back Piece or Blackout Work: Varies based on coverage and design density.
- Touch-up sessions (30 minutes to 1 hour) are available around 3 months after completion if needed.
