Frequently Asked Question 1.

Welcome back everybody.  Today we're going to be talking about the top 5 most painful places to get tattoos. Now, on a scale of 1-10, getting a tattoo can range anywhere from a 1 to a whopping 10 on the pain scale- but let's be honest, some areas are definitely more sensitive than others.

At number 5, we have the calf area- and while it may not seem like a particularly sensitive area compared to some others on this list, the reason it's so painful is because the skin there is stretched tight over the muscle. Meaning, if you're getting a larger piece done, it could require multiple sessions and therefore prolong the pain.

Coming in at number 4, we have the inner thigh. Now, this area is incredibly sensitive due to the fact that the skin is thinner and more delicate. Plus, it's an area that has a lot of nerve endings close to the surface of the skin, resulting in a painful tattoo experience.

The number 3 spot goes to the rib cage. This area has very little flesh, and is right on top of the bones - making it extremely difficult to avoid any pain during the process. In addition, the movement of the chest wall can cause the tattoo needle to grind into the ribs, resulting in agony.

At number 2, we have the head. Yes, you heard that right- the head! This area is not only one of the most painful places to get tattooed, but also incredibly dangerous due to the proximity to the brain. Additionally, the pain is amplified because of the number of nerve endings in the scalp.

And finally, drumroll please- the number 1 most painful place to get a tattoo is the hands and feet. These areas are notorious for their sensitivity and are considered a higher pain threshold compared to any other part of the body. The skin there is very thin, and there are multiple bones and tendons not to mention the million little nerve endings making it a truly excruciating experience.

So there you have it, folks- our top 5 most painful places to get tattoos! Remember, the pain of tattooing can vary from person to person, but knowledge is power, and now you can make an informed decision about where to get your next tattoo. Thanks for tuning in, and stay fabulous!
